Shiri Appleby was born on the 7th day of December
in the year 1978. Since then, she's been working on making an impact
on the world.
Shiri grew up in the San Fernando Valley area of world-famous Los
Angeles County. She attended and graduated from Calabasas High School
in Calabasas, taking on jobs such as hostess at a gourmet restaurant,
and engaging in extracurricular activities like cheerleading.
Throughout her life, Shiri has taken parts in entertainment productions.
Although she took a break from acting during high school, she once
again felt the bug while attending a prestigious Southern California
university, USC.
She's appeared in a wide array of film projects, like "The Other
Sister" and "A Time For Dancing," in addition to making
several television appearances on well-established programs like "7th
Heaven" and "ER". One of her biggest accomplishments
has been landing the role of Liz Parker on the WB's hit television
series, "Roswell." Shiri does an astounding job of playing
the remarkable Liz Parker, a young woman who is shot while working
at her father's café and saved from death by a mysterious classmate,
Max Evans (played by Jason Behr). Liz Parker soon learns that Max,
her lab partner, is an alien, with ties to the infamous crash near
Roswell, New Mexico in 1947.
While Shiri continues to breathe life into the character of Liz Parker,
she has been able to accomplish other tasks, such as community service.
The March 2001 issue of Seventeen recently followed Shiri in one of
her many community activities, reading to children at the local public
library. And she's been building up her résumé, her
latest film being "A Time For Dancing." There's no doubt
we'll be seeing Shiri's face on the screens for a long time. Shiri
