Patricia Arquette was born in Chicago on April
8th, 1968. She and her sister Rosanna, and brothers Richmond, Alexis,
and David all grew up in a warm climate which encouraged creative
expression. The family moved out to Southern California when the kids
were all still young, as their dad continued to pursue his career
as an actor. When she was younger, she went to live with her sister
while Rosanna was still trying to make it big. She loved visiting
the sets where her sister worked and she knew that was what she wanted
to do.
She worked in a lot of smaller parts in mediocre TV movies before
she was finally given her opportunity to shine. The break came in
1993's, "True Romance", with Christian Slater. Arquette,
like the rest of her family, has always flirted with mainstream appeal
but has been most comfortable in low-key, independent films. They
are all known to be rather wild and free-wheeling, but its that very
wild spirit which gives them their creative energy. Patricia married
Nicolas Cage in 1995, but the two are now separated. Some of her more
recent films include; "The Hi-Lo Country" with Woody Harrelson,
"Stigmata" with Gabriel Byrne, "Bringing out the dead"
with husband Nicolas Cage
and "Little Nicky" with Adam Sandler. Patricia
